MIV with Community
MIV with Community is an ICT volunteer program that focuses on increasing the digital literacy among their community to maximize ICT benefits for themselves and their community as well as to encourage the locals’ business more noticeable online through the usage of social media.
The Volunteers also have the opportunity to share, disseminate knowledge and promote the positive use of ICT among the community. We are currently looking for passionate individuals to lend a hand for MIV with Community 2023.
Volunteer Criteria
- Have a strong interest in ICT-based volunteerism
- 18 years old and above; and
- Minimum Diploma (prefereably in relation to ICT)
- Adept in using Social Medias
MIV WITH COMMUNITY ONLINE : SUKARELAWAN UNTUK SEMUA "MIVO"
Since the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020, MIV programmes have been implemented via online platforms as an alternative solution to ensure continuation of these programmes despite the challenges because of the movement control order (MCO).
Through this method, the volunteers had the opportunities to participate in the virtual workshop to allow as many people as possible to participate regardless of location and physical presence. This programme is branded as MIVO (Malaysia ICT Volunteer Online).
This will enable the MIV volunteers to engage and contribute to their local community and reached out to their communities through social media and communication platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram and others.
